CDME Session 4 & 5

This should have been posted in October...unfortunately work has been pilling up and up to the point where it just couldn't be ignored and this just got shoved aside...

Session 4 consisted of us reading back through our pre-production tasks, and after looking at everyone else's mine felt looked pathetic in comparison. I could have made it much better by posting all my research in a more properly produced Powerpoint presentation, and it would have helped if I had brough the sketches I did.
After than we discussed the final assignment. My group and I decided to research the product Spam. I've found a bit of information regarding Spam in the media, but that will be posted in a sepereate blog.

We practised with Photoshop a little towards the end of Session 4. I had quite a lot of fun, and because I had had some experience with Photoshop in the past, I was able to use what i had learned in the session to experiment a little more wildly.

Then I decided to experiment:

I discovered the wonders of the Filter toorbox!

In Session 5 we were given a safetly breifing. It was helpful in the sense that we were given a safety report and had to fill it out about our surroundings, but in truth the rest unnerved me a little. (And funnily enough on my way home that day my car broke down...)
And after watching a clip of 'Final Destination' made me just want to curl up in the corner of my room and not touch anything in fear that I might end up slaughtering myself.

Despite all that, it was a well though out presentation and helped a lot when it came to filling out a safety report...no doubt I'll have to do something similar in the future.
